The Western PA Elite Baseball League (WPEBL) will hold its annual "Scout Day" showcase of talent on Saturday, June 27 at LaRoche College beginning at 9:00am. The showcase will highlight the league's top Underclassmen and Uncommitted Seniors working through a series of drills to display their talents. The event is interactive, so any coach or scout may request that a player repeat a drill or do something different in order to properly evaluate his skill level. The showcase is sponsored by the WPEBL coaches and coordinated by Jory Coughenour (White Sox) & Mike Kosko (Bulldogs)
Additional opportunities to see the players in action will follow with scheduled games the following day, Sunday June 28 at Highfield in Butler (2 adjacent fields). The majority of WPEBL teams will be participating in order to allow coaches and scouts to see players in game action. The schedule of games is being coordinated by Walt Patsilevas (Seneca Valley).
