The Western Pennsylvania Elite Baseball League is the premier 18 & U league in Western PA. The league was created to give the top baseball players in Western Pennsylvania a competitive summer league where college and professional scouts could evaluate multiple players on the same day. The 2012 WPEBL season will consist of 10 teams playing 27 league games. After five years, over 95 players are playing at the collegiate level. The WPEBL features a league playoff and a league showcase which had over 20 Colleges or Universities represented.
